The UH014GZ is a lightweight and low noise, brushless Hedge Trimmer powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT slide type battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with 3 electronic speed control settings for optimum speed control and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load, to deliver up to 5,000 strokes per minute for increased cutting speed and torque for smooth and efficient cutting, similar to that of an engine driven Hedge Trimmer. The UH014GZ is equipped with a 75cm single sided blade, with new triple edged cutting teeth, designed to easily catch, firmly hold and sharply cut twigs or thin branches up to a maximum 23.5mm diameter; the curved blades reduce the friction resistance to suppress energy loss, large chip receiver and electric brake for increased user safety. The UH014GZ features two handed start-up for user protection, front handle switch, anti-restart function to minimise motor start-up when the battery is inserted with the switch locked on and conveniently located reversing switch to free the blade when jammed by thicker branches. The UH014GZ is IPX4 level water resistant. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase.
